INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT

This Independent Contractor Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into as of [Date], by and between Retro Celebrations (“Company”), and the undersigned individual (“Contractor”).
1. Engagement of Services

Contractor agrees to provide event support and related services as required by Retro Celebrations on an as-needed basis. Contractor is engaged as an independent contractor, not as an employee, and nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to create a partnership, joint venture, or employer-employee relationship.
2. Transportation and Equipment Requirements
​
Contractor is required to:

Provide their own personal vehicle for transportation to and from event locations.

Maintain an active mobile hotspot or equivalent internet connectivity as necessary for job-related functions.

Be solely responsible for the insurance, maintenance, and condition of their vehicle.

Assume full responsibility for any and all damages, losses, or liabilities arising from transportation to and from events, including but not limited to accidents, traffic violations, and personal injuries.
3. Company Liability Disclaimer

Retro Celebrations shall not be liable for any damages to Contractor’s vehicle or property during transport or at the event.

Retro Celebrations shall not provide auto insurance, personal liability coverage, or medical coverage to the Contractor.

4. Compensation
​
Contractor will receive the following compensation:

Nominal gas/mileage reimbursement based on agreed-upon rates per event.

Event hourly compensation for hours worked on-site, as approved in writing prior to each event.
No other benefits, reimbursements, or compensation shall be due unless agreed upon in writing by both parties.

5. Independent Contractor Status
​
Contractor understands and agrees that:

They are solely responsible for all taxes, withholdings, and statutory obligations, including income tax, self-employment tax, and insurance.

They are not entitled to employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement benefits, or paid leave.

This agreement does not guarantee any minimum number of hours or events.

6. Conflict of Interest and Competition
​
Contractor agrees not to engage in any services for competing photo booth companies or businesses offering substantially similar services during the term of this Agreement, without prior written consent from Retro Celebrations. If it is found that Contractor is actively working for or promoting a competing business, Retro Celebrations reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately and/or pursue any appropriate remedies.

7. Term and Termination
​
This Agreement shall remain in effect until terminated by either party with written notice. Retro Celebrations may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause. Termination may be immediate in cases of breach, including but not limited to working with competing companies as outlined in Section 6.
